May be viral, mono,s: May not be strep. Consider reculture and not the screen to get better identification. This could be viral. Your physician can better clarify this.

Is a neg strep test always right? I got 2 done within days apart from having a sore throat on and off with swollen lymph nodes for 2-3 weeks. Sore throat eventually went away but neck still feels tight/swollen. I don't have a PCP?
