My lymph nodes feel sore and swollen but i dont have a sore throat. could it be strep still?

Dr. John Chiu answered

Not necessarily: Transient lymph node enlargement is a response to inflammation (infection is one of them) and not confined to strep infection. Dental problem and sinus infection can cause the neck nodes to enlarge as well. If the enlargement lasts more than a month or gets worse, you will need to contact your doctor immediately.
