Cardio exercise: Doing cardio is a great way to lose weight and you do not have to lift weights in order to lose weight. In fact, lifting weights generally builds muscle and that can actually add some weight. However, this isn't necessarily bad because you are replacing fat with muscle. Lifting weights can help tone your arms and legs as well which can help you look better. For pure weight loss, cario is fine.
