Leg Cramps: have no "preference" for patients with TYPE 2 DM they are "universal" and often occur without any disorder along with them. Fortunately they seem to respond to several medications which your Primary Care Provider can try and one YOU can obtain OTC BENADRYL (diphenhydramine) comes in 25 mgm tablets (capsules) Try 2 at bed time and if that doesn't help try three! Make sure at bedtime since Benadryl (diphenhydramine) =sleepiness Z
