A member asked:

I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and svts, which wake me up at night and sometimes result in panic attacks. is it safe to take ativan (lorazepam) to help ca?

Prior to sedative: You do not indicate whether you have C-PAP device or instead a dental splint, but you should use one or other to control the Sleep Apnea, which could trigger the SVT. Once breathing is stabilized, would not be reluctant to allow a drug like Ativan (lorazepam) at bedtime.
