I take ativan (lorazepam) .5 mg as needed. i just had a bad panic attack while alone and took more then i usually do, either 3 or 4. will this affect me?

Probably not: It doesn't take much of the medicine to get an effect, so the extra medication probably didn't help. I doubt that it is really harmful however. When you have a bad attack try to breath into a small brown paper bag to elevate your CO2. However, if you find that 2 mg is needed, ask your doctor about that dose. If you are having frequent attacks, you may need a preventive medication

Ativan (lorazepam): 3 or 4 of 0.5mg. amounts to 1.5-2mg., still within the therapeutic dose. You should be ok.
