Sting: this sounds like a sting either a bee or a wasp place some ice compresses and have it checked by a physicians.If he is having rashes and swelling and difficulty breathing.you need it have him checked urgently

Most likely an insect bite or a spider bite. as long as it is not red swollen or painful, in should gradually heal. Have him seen by your doctor if it gets worse.
