Bug bite identification - red swollen circle on my forearm, within a few minutes the center of the circle dropped in the middle to create a white star pattern. a week later - looks like a tattoo . felt no pain, no itching and happened immediately?

Most bug bites, if it is one, do not leave any diagnostic clues that would allow us to know what it is. Sometimes they form patterns that allow us to speculate, but most look about the same. If you catch the bug in the act, the identification is obvious, but that's the only sure ID.
