Infection not cancer: Cancer doesn't behave at all like this. You have some sort of infection, like an infected sebaceous cyst or cellulitis. If the elbow joint is swollen, perhaps a more serious infection, e.g. septic arthritis or bursitis. These problems can be even more serious than cancer, so don't mess around with this. See a doctor soon. (If you have fever or the area is painful, do it immediately.)
