what is the best dose of effexor/effexor xr to be on to see real results with my major depressive disorder and social anxiety?

Effexor (venlafaxine) dose: There is no one "best dose" for Effexor (venlafaxine)/Effexor (venlafaxine) XR. A therapeutic dose of Effexor (venlafaxine) varies considerably from person to person depending on symptoms, weight, metabolism etc. Dosing must be individualized and carefully monitored for beneficial vs. side effects. Speak with your doctor if you're not feeling better on your present dose. Keep all follow-up appointments. I hope this helps. Best wishes.
