What is the question: Not sure what your question is. Ankle sprains can be severe. The grade ranks the severity-grade 1 is less severe than grade 2. Healing any ankle sprain can take a long time. If your ankle is still bothering you, please see your physician.

Say "unstable".: Well, it sounds like you may be off to a great start for developing an unstable ankle. Multiple ankle sprains of increasing severity are certainly an indicator. A consult with a foot and ankle specialist is the next step.
