Probably not but: Most kidney infections caused by bacteria are not "contagious" but a few may be. Your risk of "having it too" is fairly small But it would be good to ask your obstetrician about having a urine test/culture to rule out the possibility that you may have an asymptomatic bacteriuria or an asymptomatic urinary infection caused by Group B Strep or other microorganism. Be safe.
