Diverticulitis pain has gone away, should i still see the doctor or wait to see if it comes back?

If the pain: is gone there is no reason to see your Health Care Provider since it sounds like you already have a certain Diagnosis! If the pain returns acuite Diverticulitis may require antibiotics!! You also should be following dietary rules to reduce the number of attacks! Hope this helps! Dr Z
