I have pain on the left side of my waist that sometimes goes into my back. i have been to the doctor and she said she thinks its diverticulitis. she gave me antibiotics and it did get some better. now, its back again. any suggestions? left side pain

? Surgery: You may need a longer course of antibiotics. If that does not resolve the issue, surgery may be needed. It would be prudent to see your doctor again as s/he knows more about your health. Wish you good health!
