Who says you can't..: If just the sides are involved, there should be reason that the border(s) can't be removed and you can return to work the next day. I have done this procedure on hundreds of patients who were able to play football, basketball and just about any activity except toe dancing. Is it normal after ingrown toenails removal surgery years ago toenails have since been very thick and hardly grow at all. Noticed buildup of something in the slits that use to have the sides of the nail. Its not dirt? Very confused if this is normal?
