Quetiapine for what?: Quetiapine is highly suspect as a PRN regardless of the interval. I know some physicians use it for sleep and anxiety but given the potential side effects (not to mention cost), there are other options available. Quetiapine has a fairly long half-life so taking it 3 times within 5hrs doesn't really match how the drug works in the body.

Quetiapine/Seroquel: generally is dosed at 12 hour intervals. The dosage regimen you describe with PRN dosing sounds like the prescriber is treating sleep impairment and seeking to determine what dose is necessary. Work with your prescriber to achieve appropriate medication and strategy for whatever condition(s) you are attempting to address. Best regards for good health.
