Seroquel (quetiapine): Correct. Not advise cutting or crushing slow release or extended release medications.

Follow directions: Follow the direction of your doctor. Take the medication as prescribed. An extended release medication should never be cut in half. It is meant to be released over an extended period of time over a 24 hour period. If you need a lower dose then discuss this with your physician.
