Tapering seroquel (quetiapine) - at 12.5mg nightly for last 6 months (1/4 50mg tab). at this dose, can i just d/c? if not, any suggestions on tapering schedule?

Stopping meds: Dear MichaelB, Unless you've had a problem stopping medication in the past (particularly quetiapine aka Seroquel) it is usually ok. Some people have rebound insomnia, or a recurrence of symptoms, which can be irksome and occasionally serious. I'd make sure the prescribing clinician is aware you are stopping before doing so, and ask her or him about your concern as well.
