Possibilities: Might be the white ulcers that go along with Strep Throat. If throat is still very sore this must be ruled out. See your doc for an exam and antibiotics if strep is the cause. Then again, these may be little hard white "tonsilliths" which are little pieces of debris and dried pus that are in the tunnels of the tonsils. Tonsilliths can sometimes be gently pushed out with a q-tip.
