Tonsoliths: The etiology of these is bacteria becoming trapping in the tonsils themselves. Sometimes they harder and other times they just sit there. If they do not go away, they can be removed in the doctor's office or even at some dentists office.

Normal: It may be normal to have some discharge or tonsillar exudate, that resides in crypts within the tonsils. They can be related to retained food particles that are degraded by saliva and bacteria, which can cause the foul odor.
