I was prescribed 500mg of cephalexin for a small cut on my toe. i read the side effects of this antibiotic and i am weary about taking it 4 x a day.

No Problem..: I would be too. Call the physician, and ask if you can reduce the script by half. Say 500mg. 2 X a day. There is nothing wrong with asking questions when you have concerns. Remember to keep the wound clean and watch for wound improvement.
