Is keflex a safe antibiotic? i have what appears to be a spider bite and was prescribed this today. 500mg 2x day for 10 days. i cant swallow pills so i was told it was okay to open capsule and put in good. anxious about taking it for side effects?

Cephalexin (Keflex) is an extremely safe antibiotic, with very rare side effects. It may not taste great taking it this way, but it will work fine and probably no side effects.
