Had strep august. Painful red throat,headache,fever,congested. Took amoxicillin 875mg once a day 7 days Got sick again last week bad cough cant eat,fever,congested. On amox liquid 400mg 6ML 2x a day. Throat at sides still red why? Is it still strep?
I started meds for strep on 2/8 at night with my first dose. I take 500mg amox 2x a day. My throat definitely looks better than what it did but its still somewhat sore. Is this normal? Or could it be a regular sore throat on top of strep recovering?
