Hip graft: Pain from an iliac crest graft site can take anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks to subside. Ice and anti-inflammatory medication is the best for this problem, care should be taken to avoid anti-inflammatory medications for the first 6 to 8 weeks as this can decrease the healing right at the site of surgery on your wrist.
