Returning to work: It all depends how well you are feeling after the surgery. Pain is very subjective. You may be ready to work in a day, while someone else may need more time. Don't overdo it if you are feeling well. Talk to the doctor who did your surgery for any precautions you need to take even if you are doing well.

When you feel up to the activity you are going to do and are not taking a narcotic pain medication so yo can think clearly. Usually there will be a white covering over the bone graft. Very important to not move this and it holds the bone graft particles in place. Call your doctor for specific instructions.
