As long as healing is complete and no signs of infection, than you can climb a high mountain or fly. It is the gases in an infection that causes the tissue in the face to swell and as well as a painful response. The expansion of the gases at high altitudes of light air causes this type of reaction. You should tell your surgeon of your intentions.
