Honky Tonk blues...: Blue spots, faded or not, can represent a small amount of blood either trapped under the nail or sluggishly moving near the surface of the skin. If there is not enough to irritate a nerve, then there will be no pain. Another school of thought is that it just might be a faded blue, painless small spot on the right toe nail.
