Not a problem: The only thing I think about avoiding with mono is tylenol (acetaminophen). It is disposed of in the liver and mono slows the function some. Other meds in general are fine at this age.

I have been having allergies really bad this week. I have been taking Zyrtec and Mucinex D since last Sunday. Friday I added generic Flonase. I have not had any fever at all. Yesterday afternoon I noticed a loss of smell. I know there are reports of others saying theyve lost smell and taste while on Flonase. I also know that is a symptom of COVID. From what Ive read and heard, if this was COVID Id feel a lot worse and have fever. What are your thoughts? Loss of smell?
Can fluid in ear cause the lymph node there to swell slightly and cause some pain? My Dr said fluid is clear and no fever etc so he doesnt think infection just allergies. Can a node swell if no infection? Said to try Allegra D or Zyrtec. Thx?
My 4 year old takes zyrtec 1 tsp and singulair 4mg every night. She got a couple mosquito bites yesterday and they are swollen. Can she have a dose of benadryl also tonight? Her left eye has also been watering for several days even with both allergy meds.
