RICE: RICE, rest it, ice it, wrap it (compression) and elevate it. Also over the counter ibuprofen or naproxen might help. Is this a one time thing or are you a habitual runner? you might need to adjust how you run.

Too much, too soon.: You need a steady diet of Rice and Rest. You should begin you marathoning with much shorter distances to insure safety and prevent damage.
