Neck pain: 41 year old New Yorker with neck pain of 4 days duration with no improvement. Patients who have severe neck pain with no improvement or from trauma should receive a full physical exam. Neck pain can be from cervical spine osteoarthritis, fractures, herniated discs, muscular strain, and several other problems. Rest, use ice & NSAIDs. You may require imaging or EMG nerve study do diagnose the isssue
