I am scared to take 15mg. saw doctor for bad neck pain. was taking advil 400 mg once a day for last five days. so doc prescribed meloxicam 15 mg once ?

Why Scared?: Not sure why you would be unsure about taking Meloxicam if your doctor prescribed it for you. Did you read the pharmacy drug insert ? Is there something else we dont know from your question? It is usually a med that is not as irritating to the GI tract as Advil. It is prescribed often and even given twice a day.Maybe your pharmacist could help here. Recontact doctor as well.

Meloxicam: Taking Meloxicam is as safe as taking Advil. If your doctor has prescribed it for you I would take it with no fear
