Need to see it: Without seeing the study it is not possible to be sure. See if you can get the radiologist interpretation and see what is said. However the technologist should not be telling you anything. Talk to you own doctor as well. Best wishes

Of course: Hi. Of course, you can always get a second opinion. X-ray is not that sensitive for masses. If there is a problem, CT or MTI is much more sensitive for masses. Why was the X-ray done? Good luck to her!

Radiologist willread: The Xrays done in the ER will be reviewed by a radiologist. If you have questions or concerns, then recheck after 24 hours for the reading.

There are many: reasons the tech could be pointing at something. It may have to do with a technical aspect of the exam. Don't read to much into it. There is nothing so fraught with error as trying to interpret the body language of the tech during the exam. The radiologist will provide a final interpretation. Try speaking with your doctor, the ER doc, or the radiologist about your concerns.
