How high?: Hypereosinophilia (>1500 measured on two separate occasions weeks apart) can lead to cardiac and other organ damage. If you fit this picture, then you really need to consult an allergist to find out the cause for the hypereosinophilia and be treated accordingly. If the number is just moderately elevated, then the cardiac issue is unrelated.
