I don't think so: High blood pressure is silent -- something else wakes you -- is it headaches or chest pain? Or shortness of breath?

Sleep Apnea: If you are having problem during sleep you may need to be checked for sleep apnea. It could also be your blood pressure medication. Go for an examination to determine what the problem is before it gets worse.
