A member asked:

How often would be ideal to have a complete heart physiology evaluation after age 45?

Preventive medicine: If you are generally healthy, with no symptoms related to your heart (palpitations, pain, shortness of breath), then there are no indications for you to have regular heart physiology testing done. The best thing to keep your heart healthy is to eat a diet based on fruits, veggies and whole grains, avoid red/processed meats and cheese. Get regular exercise and keep your weight in the normal range.

Referring to what?: I think a routine physical exam with an EKG is all you should need unless you have underlying heart disease.
