A member asked:

High intensity exercises increase my heart rate while without the exercises it works normally. does this warrant an evaluation from a cardiologist?

Your post is confusing. The heart rate is supposed to increase during any high intensity exercise to push the oxygen around to supply the muscles.. At rest, the heart rate is supposed to remain at a stable rate. You don't treat normal. If you think your rate is too fast during exercise, that is different. Share your concerns with your regular doc. They can decide if you need a cardiologist.

Agree with Dr. Ferguson. What you described is normal physiological response. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.
