Abnormal conduction: Sometimes, an abnormal electrical conduction pathway in the heart will lead to irregular rhythms. The concern is that these rhythms will "degenerate" into more dangerous rhythms such as ventricular fibrillation. Clearly, vfib is very dangerous, so preventing it is critical. Do consult your electrophysiologist soon to learn more about your specific condition and what can be done to protect you.

Depends but unlikely: You need to get a study that can determine what is going on with your heartbeats. Once that is determined therapy if needed can be recommended.
