Consult a surgeon!: The US does not have a monopoly on surgeons. There are qualified surgeons everywhere in the world. Just as I would advise in the US, do a bit of research to try to find the best hospital in the area and a surgeon with good credentials. You may also want to get a second opinion.
One thing you will find is that surgery outside the US is probably much more affordable!
