Cymbalta (duloxetine) : As long as your symptoms are well controlled and you are not having any side effects, you can take it as long as you need it. If you are taking it for depression or anxiety and have been on it for more than a year, it is possible that you no longer need it. You could try to wean off the med and see if your symptoms recurr. If they do, you should restart it. If not, you don't need it anymore.
