A member asked:

What kind of cold medication can i take with cymbalta (duloxetine)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hard one: That is hard to answer. Many cold medications have dextromethorphan or decongestants both of which should be avoided with cymbalta. Here are some things that are safe: tylenol, (acetaminophen) guaifenesin, nasal saline, Honey for cough or sore throat and most throat lozenges I hope you feel better soon.
