Interaction: Although these 2 can be used together safely, caution is needed with the doses. Wellbutrin can inhibit the metabolism of cymbalta, (duloxetine) causing its level to rise in your system. Seizures are possible if doses are too high also. Please discuss your concerns with your prescribing psychiatrist.

Comb meds: Wellbutrin xl 300 mg and may be 30 mg Cymbalta (duloxetine) are safe. There is no 40 mg cymbalta (duloxetine). Even a 60 mg Cymbalta (duloxetine) is safe. But you should be monitored by a doctor.
