Check it out: Don't increase the dosage without consulting with your doctor. You probably would benefit with an additional medication or a different one.

Maybe: Discuss increasing the Sertraline with your doctor. The benzodiazapine class of drugs (Valium, Ativan, ect.) , are very effective but have the nasty side effect of dependence and addiction in some folks. An excellent treatment for anxiety is cognitive behavioral therapy. Recommend you seek out a professional practitioner of CBT.
