OTITIS /URI: Yes you need to be examined. Evaluated for otitis, also ruptured ear drum and throat culture for pharyngitis . You may need antibiotics. While you are waiting take Vit C 5gm. Zinc 100mg echinacea and goldenseal . Push fluids
