A member asked:

Months ago had concussion.now the are where head (l side) got it often tingles, sometimes have ringing in l ear+sometimes can't hear anything. help?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Concussion: The tingling on the scalp may be scar tissue around a nerve that supplies sensation to the scalp. A nerve block or neuropathic compound cream can help relieve the tingling. Intermittent ringing and hearing loss is unlikely permanent damage to hearing and may not be related to the concussion. See an ear, nose and throat surgeon (otolaryngologist) for an evaluation.
