No: Your bone marrow is always working churning out new cells to replace those cells that have died in sacrificing themselves in the battle in which they have so far so nobly advanced to paraphrase Mr. Lincoln. Just continue living your life and the next time that your doctor wants to order a blood test always ask to what purpose. Don't just do a test to gather more data. There should be a good reason

Follow up: not to worry ..this is a common finding in early viral infections and sometimes in chronic infections (such as Athlete's foot) It does however deserve a follow-up CBC (Complete Blood Count) Hope this helps! Dr Z
