I am bipolar and have been manic for 5 days now. 1) how long is too long to be manic. 2) what will my doctor do? my dr already doubled my abilify (aripiprazole).

Mania: If you have full blown mania - please let your doctor know ASAP. I can't tell you what your doctor will do but this needs to be treated to nip it in the bud. If symptoms are severe, emergency department visit may be in order.
