How does one balance both adhd and mild bipolar disorder? currently i am taking abilify (aripiprazole) and adderall and things seem to be stable for about 5 months.

Overlap: Symptoms of adhd and bipolar overlap. Sometimes it can be difficult to decipher the two. See your physician and let your physician manage and follow direction accordingly. Usually controlling the bipolar symptoms and focusing on treating them and getting them under control helps with the adhd symptoms.

Agree with input: you have already received. Sounds like your treatment is medication focused. For the best treatment results- a combination of talking therapy (behavioral tx, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, ect) & psychotropic medications is optimum.
