A doctor recently prescribed me a steroid for what is probably the common cold. could this likely interact with my psychiatric medications? should i even take it? my pre-existing diagnosis is bipolar 2 and i take 15 mg abilify and 20 mg valium daily.

Check pharmacy : Please review all of your medications with your pharmacist. They have up to date information regarding possible interactions. Steroids are not typically used w mild cough and colds. Review the need for the oral steroid with your physician.
