How can you tell if enlarged lymph nodes are infected with bacteria and are cancerous?

Associated findings: And biopsy. Bacterial infection, e.g., strep throat has different clinical findings than breast cancer that may have spread to the lymphnodes. In difficult cases removal of the node and examination by a pathologist is required for diagnosis.
