I'm not sure what: you mean by "him", but assume you mean "gum." Certainly if there is still bleeding, she should be seen. You should also make sure her teeth are not loose or discolored. If either of these are present or she is in pain, or the tissue hanging down is large, I would recommend you take her to be seen by her doctor or dentist.

Absolutely: All trauma to the teeth, jaw, head, etc should be evaluated and monitored. Without a one on one exam and x-rays we cannot properly diagnose these type of situations. Damage to the teeth can occur without being readily seen. Sometimes problems result later on from these types of accidents. Consult with your local dentist. Hopefully all is OK, but let's make sure.
